Please join us for our weekly and monthly dances, as well as our special events!

We dance at the Munson Library in Amherst, MA. All of our events feature live music.

New people are always welcome, and you don't need to bring a partner.

Note! The First Saturday Dance will be held on Saturday, May 4th , and every first Saturday. Its goal is to emphasize the notion that the evening will be fun, not heavy into style, and a social occasion for all dancers

The Monday Night Dance will NOT be held at the Munson Library on April 29, 2013. Please call Richard or Flora at (413) 665-0484 regarding the location of the dance!

Calculate your dance community's green house gas emissions!

Members of the Amherst Area English country dance community have created a dance event greenhouse gas calculator as part of our effort to calculate, reduce and offset our nearly 20 tons of CO2 emissions, resulting from our travel, heating, and electricity use.

Feel free to download the calculator for your dance community's use. Once we saw our numbers, we decided collectively to increase our car pools, plant fruit trees, and purchase compact florescent light bulbs, renewable energy certificates and carbon offsets.
